A QUICK reminder that writer,  Denise Hamilton, will be speaking at LMU tonight as part of the Alumni Authors Series. We will be starting class at the usual time, but if you can come by for the first part of her talk, some of the ideas that drift up might make for some fodder for  one of your monthly blogposts.

Noir L.A.: Denise Hamilton Speaks Wednesday @ LMU

AWARD-WINNING crime novelist Denise Hamilton, author of the Eve Diamond series and editor of Los Angeles Noir and Los Angeles Noir 2.

Hamilton will be talking about her latest thriller Damage Control, which author James Ellroy described as Hamilton's "largest and greatest triumph: Damage Control is a great mystery, and, much more rarely, a superb psychological thriller. Kudos to this brilliant talent."
